This Cabrinha Ace 137x41 w/ H1 Straps Used is in fair condition with normal wear and tear for its age. No repairs or damage.
In terms of freeride / freestyle cross-over, the Ace is basically a no-brainer fail-safe option. Mid-weight, it feels tough, tightly tuned underfoot and features a modest level of channeling underneath. There’s a subtle quad concave leading to a quad-V bottom shape and, alongside the modest rocker, the Ace offers a very practical blend of low speed drive, high-speed class in regular chop, constant carving and a very natural feel of lateral control, thanks to the detailed channeling towards the edges. Not too grippy, not too loose, it really is a board for all-comers. There’s more of a raw contact with the water than something like the Ronson, but it’s also not a slapper and there is some dampening control. Though you feel ‘more of the road’ it doesn’t wear your legs out. If you’re looking to switch up to boots, there are boards that are better suited to that with a stiffer central flex pattern. The Ace doesn’t generally take much effort to get a lot of performance from and you’ll be having a great time from your very first session.
