Decades of Experience. Let's talk Gear!
The 2027 Duotone Mast SLS 2.0 is the carbon upgrade that sits between Duotone's aluminum and D/LAB masts. You get a big step in glide, stiffness and control over aluminum, with a smooth, forgiving feel that suits everyday riders.
Why riders love it
- Profile from D/LAB 2.0: The mast profile comes from Duotone's top-end D/LAB 2.0 masts. You get smoother acceleration and better glide.
- Tapered, low-drag design: The new taper cuts wetted area and drag without giving up stiffness.
- One-piece mast and plate: The integrated plate stiffens the mast and gives a more direct link to your board. It also adds less drag on take-off and touchdown.
- 3BS+ ready: The 3BS+ insert works with current Duotone front wings and with tails that use the 4th screw. It's also ready for future Duotone foils.
- Full carbon prepreg build: Light and stiff, with direct feedback.
Which length is right for you?
- 76 cm: Pump and prone foiling, riding close to the surface.
- 84 cm: The all-round length for wing foiling.
- 92 cm: High speed and choppy water, where extra depth helps keep the front wing from breaching.

Hardware and torque
- 3BS screws (included): 3 x M8 x 50, TX 45. Tighten to 15 Nm.
- 4th screw, 3BS+ (not included): 1 x M6 x 32, TX 30. It comes with the matching tail. Tighten to 10 Nm.
Compatibility
This mast uses Duotone's 3BS connection with the 3BS+ insert, so it fits current Duotone front wing and fuselage setups. The fuselage, front wing and stabilizer are sold separately. Not sure what fits your setup? Call or visit us at Force Kite and Wake in Mount Pleasant and we'll help you choose.
Who it's for
Wing, pump, prone and downwind foilers moving up from aluminum who want carbon stiffness and glide without paying D/LAB prices.
SLS 2.0 vs. the previous Aero SLS
| Aero SLS (previous) | SLS 2.0 (new) | |
|---|---|---|
| Lengths | 75 / 82 / 90 cm | 76 / 84 / 92 cm |
| Chord | 135 mm | 120 mm, tapering to 135 mm near the plate |
| Thickness (thinnest point) | 18.2 mm | 18 mm, tapering to 20 mm near the plate |
| Weight | 1.75 kg (75) / 1.84 kg (82) | 1.92 kg (76) / 2.06 kg (84) / 2.19 kg (92) |
| Connection | 3BS (3 screws) | 3BS + 3BS+ insert (4th screw ready) |
| Plate | Not specified by Duotone | One-piece mast and plate |
- Less drag, smoother glide: The narrower 120 mm chord and the profile from D/LAB 2.0 cut drag, which helps with pumping, prone and efficient cruising.
- Future-ready connection: The 3BS+ insert takes the 4th screw that comes with newer Duotone tails. The Aero SLS uses 3BS only.
- Stiffness: Duotone calls the Aero SLS its strongest mast. Duotone says the one-piece plate on the SLS 2.0 increases rigidity and gives a more direct connection to the board.
- Weight: The SLS 2.0 is a little heavier, about 0.2 kg at similar lengths, in exchange for the lower-drag design.
