The 2027 North Orbit is North's competition-proven 5-strut big air and freeride kite, built for riders who want to jump higher, hang longer and loop with confidence. It keeps everything riders love about the Orbit – a wide wind range, effortless steering, strong upwind drive and rock-solid stability – and adds a sharper, more energetic feel for 2027.

What's New for 2027?

North refined the Orbit's profile and bridle geometry to make it more playful and responsive. The updated bridle delivers quicker, more direct feedback at the bar, while a further-refined forward-cambered profile keeps the kite parked predictably overhead in gusty or steady wind alike. A slimmer N-Max2 leading edge with increased sweep and slimmer wingtips improves turning speed, loop speed and vertical lift – the result is higher jumps and more hangtime than the previous model.
