Retail Sales Associate
Force Kite & Wake is hiring a retail sales associate to join our team. We're a kiteboarding and watersports shop, and we're looking for someone who's energetic, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment — watersports experience is a plus but not required.
What you'll do:
- Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, helping them find the right gear for their skill level and needs
- Build product knowledge across our kiteboarding, wing foiling, and watersports gear lineup
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Receive, unbox, tag, and stock incoming inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist with seasonal displays, restocks, and store merchandising
- Support online order fulfillment and shipping as needed
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (boards, gear boxes, inventory shipments)
- Comfortable on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work weekends and peak season hours
- Interest in or willingness to learn about kiteboarding, wing foiling, and watersports gear
- Prior retail or sales experience preferred, not required
- Team player who thrives in a small-shop environment
Compensation:
- Hourly base pay + commission on sales
- Access to the latest kiteboarding, wing foil, and foiling gear
