2027 Duotone Skybrid D/LAB Foil Board

The 2027 Duotone Skybrid D/LAB is the lightest, most advanced mid-length foil board Duotone has ever built. Its Hollow Shell Composite construction removes the foam core entirely, bringing average weights down to just 3.4 kg (60 L) to 4.1 kg (100 L). The result is a dramatically lower swing weight and a lively, connected feel that rides closer to a prone board, while keeping the volume and float you need for versatile everyday sessions.

New Shape, Same Skybrid Ease

For 2027 the Skybrid gets a new shape with a reduced bottom surface and a finely tuned rail profile. It keeps the stability and control the Skybrid is known for, but releases onto foil more efficiently and is noticeably easier to pump up in marginal wind. Touchdowns are smooth and forgiving, so a brief contact with the water won't kill your line or your speed.

The standing area stretches all the way to the rails and is wider to support an offset stance, giving progressive, controlled turns when riding strapless. Strap in and the board delivers precise control and direct feedback for pushing speed and stepping up your freeride. A diamond tail adds clean release and agility, while Long Carbon tracks and a grippy 3 mm deck pad complete the direct, high-performance feel.

Hollow Shell Composite Construction

D/LAB is Duotone's no-compromise construction. In place of a conventional foam blank, an internal hollow shell wrapped in a full-carbon laminate cuts the single biggest source of weight in a foil board without giving up torsional or longitudinal stiffness. You get faster acceleration, instant pump response and a board that reads clearly through your feet.
