DESCRIPTION FROM ION

ION Apex Kite Waist Harness

The ION Apex is a high-support kite waist harness for riders who want top-level back support and control in all conditions, without giving up comfort or freedom of movement. It's a trusted choice of ION team rider Reno Romeu.

The Apex uses a Curv hybrid shell with a medium-stiff flex, so it sits between ION's soft harnesses and the fully rigid Riot Curv. You get a stable, supportive feel that's still forgiving and comfortable for long, high-performance freeride sessions.

Support and Comfort

A 3D version of ION's PLUS_Spine reinforces back support. Inside, the exchangeable Ergo_Pad gives lumbar support in two profiles, medium and high, so you can choose the feel that suits your back. An internal Flex_Belt pulls the harness snug around your waist, and non-absorbent foam keeps it light when wet.

Spectre Bar 2 Included

The Apex comes with ION's Spectre Bar 2, a lightweight, ultra-strong spreader bar with a stiff hook plate for even load distribution and precise kite control. Spectre Flaps help keep the bar stable and stop it shifting during dynamic riding.
