Lift Foils Back Wings
Lift Foils Back Wings Comparison
Lift Foils offers a variety of back wings (also called tail or stabilizer wings) designed for different riding styles, from beginner stability to high-performance carving. All are made from high-modulus carbon fiber for strength and lightweight performance. The wings are grouped into series: Surf Series (balanced stability for novices across disciplines like eFoil, surf, wake, winging, kiting), Glide Series (ultra-efficient for pumping, downwinding, and battery optimization), Carve Series (aggressive turns for experienced surfers), Flow Series (pitch stability for intermediates in prone, kiting, or winging), and Florence Series (high-performance downwind foiling). Sizes are in inches (spanned width).
| Series | Model (Size in inches) | Key Features & Use Case | Ideal For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Surf V2 | 48 Surf V2 | Largest size for maximum pitch stability and smooth ride; high drag but excellent low-speed lock-in. Pairs with 200+ cm² front wings. | Novice foilers, eFoil beginners, low-speed stability in any discipline. |
| Surf V2 | 42 Surf V2 | Large size with strong stability and efficiency; good balance for learning turns. More drag than smaller sizes. | Beginners in surf/wake/winging; eFoil cruising. |
| Surf V2 | 36 Surf V2 | Mid-large size for reliable control and versatility; balanced drag and maneuverability. | Intermediate novices; all-around eFoil and multi-discipline use. |
| Surf V2 | 30 Surf V2 | Medium size for accessible foiling; easier transitions than larger wings, moderate drag. | Entry-to-intermediate in surf, wake, or kiting. |
| Glide | 36 Glide | Gold standard for efficiency; smooth feel, excellent balance and turning without instability. Low drag for extended sessions. | Pumping, downwinding, eFoil battery maximization; all levels seeking glide. |
| Glide | 31 Glide | Smaller efficient design; balanced feet feel, reduced drag for speed. | Intermediate riders; efficient cruising in winging or downwind. |
| Flow | 31 Flow | Medium surface area with longer fuselage for max stability; low drag, high pitch control. | Beginners/intermediates; prone take-offs, kiting jibes, winging skills. |
| Florence | 21 Florence X | Ultra-high performance hybrid blending Glide, Carve, and Flow traits; low angle of incidence for "psycho" glide, medium fuselage for balanced stability; low drag, tight turns. | Advanced downwind foilers, winging, small surf; expert riders chasing speed and endless connections. |
| Carve | 33 Carve | Stable tight turns with added drag; shorter fuselage, winglets, positive angle for grip. | Experienced surfers; reliable mobility in waves. |
| Carve | 26 Carve | Sportiest and smallest; extremely lively, low drag, light tail feel for aggressive slashes. | Advanced surf foilers; high-speed, razor-sharp turns. |
| Carve | 20 Carve | Ultra-compact for razor-sharp turns and front-foot feedback; minimal drag, high performance. | Expert surfers; driving through tight, high-speed maneuvers. |
