Ride Engine Tractable Reel Leash — Base Unit is the streamlined, DIY-ready starting point for the RE_Tractable system. If you've already got a harness or waist setup you like, or want to build your own mounting solution, this is the version to grab — just the reel and everything you need to hook it in, no belt or wrap included.

Inside, 1.8 meters of Kevlar weave webbing keeps your board and foil at a safe, controlled distance during crashes. A PVD-coated titanium spring — corrosion-resistant and precisely tuned — handles retraction smoothly and consistently, session after session in saltwater. An 800mm dual-stage bungee with a free-spinning stainless swivel absorbs peak loads and keeps the line from twisting.

At just 100 grams, the system all but disappears in use, cutting the drag, swing, and clutter of a traditional leash. Stainless steel mounting hardware (fits 21-24-27-30mm webbing) plus washers and mounting webbing loops are included, so you can attach it directly to your own harness or belt.
