The LF Vortex is the only Coast Guard approved vest designed specifically for kiteboarding. If you live in an area where you are required to wear a CGA vest to kiteboard, don't waste your time, this is the only vest ever made that will fit comfortably over your harness and it has the CGA logo in case you get checked by a Coast Guard officer. The design of this vest incorporates a neoprene member along the back of the vest outlining the shape of your harness and allowing it to stretch for a proper fit.  

We recommend that you get it in one size larger than you would normally wear to accommodate the harness underneath the vest.
